At Brian's cidre tasting, Marc D and I somehow came to the topic of St. Gervais, which then led to me bragging about having an 01 Cadinnieres - which is perhaps my favorite CDR-V. He made mention that he thought it had a plastic cork. Aargh I thought.

I went home, and he was right. Opened, DOA. Aaargh!
 
Shame.
I couldn't remember, was it black plastic or diam... I guess it was black plastic?

I did get a few of the 2005s, which are completely shut down now, but they have a real cork.
 
It was tan plastique.

Nice work on the 05s.

Now I'm wondering about the stopper on the 00/01 Brezeme VV...which I also have...
