2006 Giacomo Conterno Barbera d' Alba, alc 14.5%....nose is earthy with dried plums....palate is dusty and on the bitter/sour side....tannins are moderate...did quite well with spinach-ricotta shells...
nice but needs more time and definitely needs food to show well
