After the recent 3-day Wine Invitational held here that featured Oregon wines and given that there have been several conversations here on WD about Oregon wines, particularly Pinot Noir, it occurred to me that I may not have mentioned an Oregon wine that I liked quite a lot albeit with only a very small sampling. And it is a bottle label that I cannot recall having seen before -- Pinot Noir Blanc.
The bottling is the Anne Aime Prisme Willamette Valley Oregon Pinot Noir Blanc '08. Similar perhaps to a Pinot Blanc but with more stuffing (oops, there's that word again!?!). Despite it being a bit pricey at ~$60, I bought some to try again. It will be interesting to see if my follow up opinion is as favorable as my initial opinion was based on a small pour.
