2008 Vietti, Barbera D'Asti, "Tre Vigne" - I loved the first hour...umami, floral, cherry and soy aromatics....and a similar palate. No hints of wood. Fantastic texture. Went out to pick up a dvd to watch and the wine did a bit of a Frankenstein.
2009 Puzelat, Touraine, Sauvignon - Very off dry...long. Deep. P-style nose of slight oxidization pinned against freshness. Apple funk. A good combo usually, alas this bottle lacks appropriate acidity for me.
2009 Lapierre, SS - Yet one more killer bottle. While the normale may seem overblown to many Lapierre geeks, this is of a different realm. I empathize with those who cannot taste this wine as it is meant to taste.
