There's an obituary today in the on-line NY Times for Peter Bergman, late of the Firesign Theater, who passed away on Friday. R.I.P.

Tragic. “intricate wordplay, stunning engineering and use of sound effects, breakneck pacing and, of course, a terribly complex story line." Understatement.

A sad day.

Another part of my youth is taken away from me. First saw Firesign in '74 at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara. Those classic albums were in constant rotation during high school and college.

That is sad news. I can probably still recite "Waiting for the Electrician, or Someone Like Him" from memory.

Nick Danger, Third Eye for me. A sad day indeed. Thanks for alerting us, Steve.

"Son, it's in the water."

Oh, this could go on for quite a while, I suspect.
