there only seem to be 600 vines, so the acreage involved is miniscule, and NOT 40 acres. Probably less than a ton and a half of grapes, I'd guess...

There's no shame in the co-op angle: Paul Strang writes highly of the Producteurs Plaimont co-op in his "Sount-West France," and they do bottle several domaine-specific wines, with the Monastere and the Sabazan his favorites of the latter. http://www.plaimont.com
