I was rear ended this morning. The UW student who hit me says, "Hey, I get to miss class now." Then he wanted to chat. Apparently he was looking for a granola bar in his backpack and then looked up and there I was (pulled over due to sirens and lights, being the law abider that I am).

So after returning home with a diagnosis from my doc "Whiplash" I am sitting here with a 98 La Garde. Seems like I should soothe myself with something a little better, but somehow it called to me. It's good! Classy, cool, soothing, with some tobacco, cherries, and grip. No rush here - I'd advise waiting actually. But this is nice...

Looking forward to Scotch later.

Go Huskies!

Kids today.

I used to miss class with no excuse at all.

Hope you got some good pills from the doc.

proper petite Graves is the shit.
Moderate alcohol, I assume?

What a day.

After four years of parking in the cheap and distant lot (which is not coincidentally where all the students park) to avoid giving any extra money back to my employer, my car was finally swiped and scratched on the side. I came back to find the car next to me parked in a slanted and awkward position, no doubt because the student was late and rushing to get to class. And then a nice bright scratch of paint on my car.

On the positive side, I have no whiplash.

On the negative side, I have no Pessac.

Gah! That sucks. I've got 4-5 dings in my car and no idea where they came from, the down side to large parking structures.

But have you got any Leognan?

What is it with Universities and faculty parking? What I pay makes me sick.

I have 4 different dings/scratches that I have no idea where they came from. Not from job parking, but from downtown parking. Annoying.

Sorry to hear about the accident BJ, but IME, any accident you walk away from is a cause for celebration.

I only have 2 bottles of Pessac myself, unfortunately, they both have Brion in the name, so I'll probably sell them.
