I don't suppose it's our guy

I didn't follow Whitey Bulger from the very beginning, but the story of the Bulgers was pretty mesmerizing when I lived in Boston long ago, and the recent trial is a reminder.

I was a bit surprised to see this, but I'm sure it's a case of mistaken identity:

A disgraced former FBI official who once had notorious gangsters James “Whitey” Bulger and Stephen “The Rifleman” Flemmi over for dinner at his home in upscale suburban Lexington has taken the stand today in Bulger’s trial in federal court in Boston. John Morris, now a wine consultant, was nicknamed “Vino” by Bulger and Flemmi when they knew him. He described the meeting at his home, saying it was unusual to meet with both of them, but the dinner was “more of a social meeting than business.”

Must be another "Vino," right?
