1998 Clos du Tue-Boeuf Cheverny La Caillere - Pale red, but with no browning, a lovely mix of leather and raspberries, with an initial hint of strawberry sweetness. Air brings out more fruit as well as some tannin for it to hold on to, and after another hour, a compelling floral/fresh greenery aroma. It isn't just alive, it's lovely.
1997 Marcel Lapierre Morgon - A little stemmy with crunchy red fruit and a lot of acid. It starts to get a little muddled with air as the fruit starts to lose definition, but remains pleasant.
2011 Weingut Clemens Busch Riesling Trocken LS - It attacks with acidity, then pale honey, lanolin, a squeeze of lemon and peary, applely fruit fills in behind, both lean and rich at the same time. Not a wine for the acid-averse, but as a fan of tartness, I enjoyed it quite a bit. With more air, the fruit continued to expand, buffering the acidity.
