OK...usually a mixing grape in the US or Bdx (not Chinon)...often either too green or too rich...etc....
Norm Kiken on Diamond Mtn, however, has the touch
1999 Reverie Cabernet Franc, alc 13.5%...nose is effusive and shows raspberry....early palate attack as expected but age has "filled in" the middle and this is now a more complete wine....great finish...throwing quite a bit of sediment...don't be in a hurry but very enjoyable right now...
