Laurence Faller

Indeed. Truly sad news. I met her a few times. She was a charming, vivacious and beautiful woman who made some terrific wines.

That is terrible news. Laurence was one of the first winemakers I met way back when I was in college. She was smart and vivacious. It was always good to see her when she visited the states and she was a gracious host when we visited the estate years ago.

What a shame. How precarious, this life.

Good grief.

We drop like flies.

Somehow I linger.

Laurence was a vivacious personality who represented an outstanding family business about as well as it could be represented. Her intelligence and warmth touched people around the world.

But she was a sweet human, and way young - like my sister, who also got hit with a heart attack this year and survived because of her training as a nurse. One should learn the early signs and symptoms of heart failure - while we cannot always survive these events sometimes that knowledge is all that can help you to get the help you need in time to save your life.
