Two wines that could be stitched into the main thread, or an auxiliary thread, but here they are on the loose.
Domaine Luneau-Papin Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie "Les Pierres Blanches Vieilles Vignes" 2002. Young and fresh, vibrant and full of flavour. Holding well and promising for the future.
Domaine Diochon Moulin-à-Vent 1999. For the most part I have left the 99s alone because they seem so promising. Here is one that fulfills the promise. A bit of bottle stink at first, but quickly came to life, opened up to layers of fruit, soft tannins, and rich dark dirt. A robust, sensual wine.
Both wines are good to go now, but with lots of life left in them. So no rush, what are you waiting for.
