Anyone have any new Beaujolais?

I went with Tarlant Brut Zéro yesterday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. Fine fizz.

But I'm curious about the fresh gamay.

I should add that the rosé of same was perfect, on Saturday last. Benoît is really doing good things.

Tasted a very nice Drouhin BeaujoNouveau yesterday, and good 2014 Lafarge Fleurie and Chiroubles (neither nouveau) from cask two weeks ago.

I just saw the Drouhin BN in a local store. Did they save some from the current release?

Chateau Cambon Nouveau...nice and pure on nose and front palate but with a big bretty kick on the finish. Certainly divided opinion!

Not new to the market but I had my first bottle of 2012 Chamonard Clos de Lys the other day. The nose was absolutely gorgeous but the palate stayed a bit hard, even through several hours of air. Maybe it never got warm enough, but I'm looking forward to the next bottle. (2012 Descombes Morgon VV is giving me much easier pleasure these days).

Not yet onto the '14 wines.

The Dubueble was real.

Had a splash of Dupeuble's nouveau dashing through McArthur's the other day - Seemed very good for the category.
Based upon these fiery recommendations I grabbed the bottle nearest the door a resplendent bottle of this dark, fresh wine and pulled the cork: a real cork, somewhat mustardy, and happy go lucky wine beneath it. Ya ya!
