Carried into Al Dente (unassuming Italian place on New Mexico Ave that used to hold Sutton Place Gourmet, where Roberto Donna chefs). Beautiful from first pour. Ready to go but no signs of tiredness or oxidation - indeed, so well-balanced it could go a few more years - but if my other bottles are like this, why wait when mature but perfect CFE is available to drink? Fruity but dry, round with spine - really just in a perfect spot.

The 2008 Mugneret Gibourg vosne villages that foowed was tasty, albeit you g, and proved quite charming with some air.

Glad to see yours showed no premox, Mo, but we've had this discussion before.

When 95 and 96 aren't premoxed, they are like wow dude.
But, as Bard sez.

Speaking of premox, last night I pulled my last bottle of 2000 P Cotat Grande Cote. I've had obscenely good luck with the wine, given complaints from friends and foes alike. Perfect bottle yet again, but no escaping the conundrum in that pristine bottles of this are still undeveloped, mainly on account of sulfur. You can convince yourself all you want that the flintiness is from the soil; maybe part of it is. Good with whole baked branzino, would have been an excellent match with 5+ more years of bottle age,
