Fairly dark color, first sniff suggests a kind of Burgundian funk, somewhere between VA and Brett, riding atop a very attractive, harmonious, pretty compelling bouquet. The name is, as the producers describe, an homage to a domaine in Fleurie. The nose seems much less restrained than any Fleurie, i remember, but completely enjoyable and enticing. The wine is also a pleasure in the mouth, very cool, lovely flavors, some enveloping tannin that, at least to me, suggests whole-cluster ferment, a tiny bit of residual CO2, great vividness and vivacity. Really a nice bottle, somewhere around $26 or so (failing memory so soon after harvest). Recommended!
