It's remarkable that we can still drink from the top tier of Beaujolais for under $25. 2014 Clos de la Roilette Cuvee Tardive is near perfect, a deep sea of bright fruit, ripples of dark earth, all in perfect balance. A weightless wine that somehow makes a huge impact. Kind of stops you in your tracks. Best after a few days air.

It's not the Cuvee Speciale--which I had always believed was the regular cuvee bottled without filtration. It did have a Kermit back label but I don't recall anything about VV.

Yeah, the Cuvee Speciale. That's what I meant. I guess he's bringing in more than just the bottling made just for him.
