A very pale white gold in color. Aromas of men's aftershave lotions similar to what one finds in carricante & Aussie semillons, perfumed and herbal. Herbal lemon water with a touch of lavender or thyme honey on the end. Nicely acidic, rosewater, and almost gerwurz-like bitter green almond note on the end, along with some calcium or limestone. As refreshing as slurping on a good Italian lemon ice in summer. 14%, but doesn't whack you. About as good as a grenache gris can get in my opinion and a good first introduction to the Maris wine stable. A-
