Franchino 2009 Gattinara - mountain nebbiolo, bright, a little scratchy, pure fruit and a little dirt and a very little menthol, just slurped the whole thing down with steak and farro

Pepiere 2012 Muscadet "Clisson" - minerally, powerful, gets better with air, I can't imagine how I got half of this back into the fridge that night
