It looks interesting...it is not obvious, however, how one can get the wine!

That would be thanks to Kalin's brilliant marketing plan.

Great wines from California, I'd love to try this project. It's like one of those hypothetical geek questions such as: "What if Steve Edmunds was in charge of Chapoutier?" or "What if Jim Clendenen ran a hair salon?"

Can you imagine Jim cutting someone's hair? Sheesh; it would take such a long time, you'd need another haircut by the time he finished.

I know what kind of cut they would get...

Business in the front; Party in the back.

Best,
Joe (Who thinks Jim Clendenen is a good winemaker/guy, so no nastygrams)

Absolutely, great guy, one of my favorites.
No doubt, but not a source of sartorial inspiration.

I thought he was a Roadie pouring wines the first time that I met him. He had a mullet, tie-dye shirt, and Canadian tuxedo. It wasnt until we started talking about the cuvee Isabelle and Knox Alexander that I realized who he was.

On average, how much time do you spend on Wikepedia per day?

Thanks....

You know, there are probably worse ways to learn about wine than to subscribe to Tears of God.

-Eden (it's way more entertaining than anything Clive Coates or Creighton Churchill ever wrote)

BTW, the Points Guy outed Kalin in the current issue, bestowing a gazillion points on the Chardonnay and almost that many on the Sauvignon Blanc. Fortunately, neither are made of Cabernet so short term memory lapses will kick in about a week from now and the wines will remain available)

I suspect push media, not pull. Probably comic books.

And TV reruns. They were the cheapest babysitters my parents could find.

I don't think there was any lasting damage...

Wikipedia, the best place on the web to learn about Horta culture!

I prefer YouTube. It requires less reading, which I find arduous.
