Steve Edmunds
to all y'all! Drink something good, and keep good wishes in your heart for someone, or anyone, who might be stumbling, one way or another...
Peace

Peace, Steve, and all. I'm thinking of drinking something with syrah in it today, unfortunately from Spain only, and I'll be toasting the disorderlies.

Steve,

Drifting rapidly, I have been meaning to ask you if there's any way to drink a 2005 Wylie-Fenaughty in the next month or two without doing it severe injustice. Jim Cowan, in his relentless coast-to-coast promotion of your wines, has finally hounded me into buying one to try, and this is all I could find locally. But it seems way too young to use as a learning bottle, judging from your website and various posted notes.

Thanks.

The 2005 is really good with about a 3-4 hour decant. Second to last time I had it I was really loving it until moving onto the 2001 WF. Having them side by side really showed what even 4 years of age can do in terms of additional depth and complexity. And the 2001 is nowhere near fully mature either.
