2005 Vincent Girardin Bourgogne Cuvee Saint-Vincent Pinot Noir, alc 13%, $20: Opened 6 days ago at a party and reclosed (screwcapped) and left alone...this was closed and a bit angry last week...now..violets and berries on the nose..quite expressive...smooth and soft on the palate with only minor tannins showing..finishes well...I guess it just needed some time to come around... the other bottles will rest for a while before opening. I probably should buy more as well
I find it humorous that the term "Pinot Noir" is now included on the label..a lot like "hamburger meat"... well I guess they could have left the term "Bourgogne" off entirely...(I also not that accent in Cuvee has been omitted)
