Gifted to my brother:
Allegrini 1988 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Tommaso Bussola 2004 Amarone "TB"

At home, mostly:
Ai Valloni 2001 Boca "Vigna Cristiana" - still quite dark, a little stewy on the nose but glorious on the palate, maybe a little more tannic than it needs to be; they claim 13% which seems high for mountain wine but what do I know

Texier 2014 Cotes Du Rhone, Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban - gorgeous, violets and dark blue something or others, good with everything at my brother's bbq

Lecci e Brocchi 2012 Chianti Classico "Il Chiorba" - yup, that's chianti

Julien Pineau 2015 Vin de France "Sucettes a l'Aunis" - as before, nice pineau d'aunis, strong wine, typique, worth having if not as delicious as that made by the previous owners of these vines

Dom. du Bagnol 2015 Cassis Blanc - fuller than muscadet, less full than an average Provence rose, this is flavorful and good with fatty fishes; it is too much for shellfish, however

By the glass:
Vouvray Sec, Vigneau-Chevreau 2015 Vouvray Sec "Cuvée Silex" - good ripeness, Vouvray always tastes a bit off-dry no matter how sec they say it is, the body is a little light, however

Dom. Hamelin 2014 Chablis 1er "Vau Ligneau" - The restaurant normally sells Piuze but he was hit so hard in 2014 that there was not enough wine to buy (Restaurant: "How much can we buy?" Piuze: "Seven." Restaurant: "Seven palettes?" Piuze: "No, seven cases."); so, this wine instead: beautiful nose, assertive apricots and fruity chanterelle on top of the usual seashell minerality; palate about the same though there is a lingering bitter Pezzy note that distresses the finish until the wine has sat open a while; recognizably and enjoyably typique

A. J. Adam 2015 Spatburgunder Rose - wow, very fruity to start then ends very minerally, persistent and long, crisp, great wine
