Rouge Tomate...

I have so much to say on this (inevitable) ending that I shall remain silent. As Brad might point out, a first.

I am curious how it all went south. When it was good it was very good and the new location was lovely.

The new location was kind of in no man's land and it didn't have the same luxury of space as the original location, but that's what made that 60th street location so unique and great. Also, the food was just fine. Too much use of inexpensive ingredients while charging high prices. Basically, you went there for Pascaline and her list.

Thanks, Brad. I always liked the food more than most folks on this bored. But Pascaline's list was a very strong draw. I thought the midtown location felt a bit too much like an airport lounge, while the Chelsea place had some charm.
