The only interesting bottle recently: Calissano 1970 Barolo Riserva - somewhat muted roses and tar, silky texture but still more than midweight; it is just a tad tired but a lovely senior moment anyway.

Wow, flashback. 1971 Calissano Barolo was the first wine I ever bought a case of. Long gone, sorry to day.
