2005 Jean-Pierre Robinot (L'Opera des Vins) Coteaux du Loir Vin de Table Francais Concerto D'Oniss, 13%: Translucent in the glass...peppery nose...has almost a Cab Franc sweetness initially with some pepper in the background...turns more leafy and leathery as you swirl it around in your mouth...gives and impression of crisp freshness and very "bright" tasting...quite pleasing (for those of us who like Pineau d'Aunis..my wife is not one of them!)

Which is either good or bad, depending on whether or not she expects to share the open bottles!

It means I opened something else for her (perfectly fine given the overabundance of wine we have)...no big deal...
