Late to the game but I’m also a buyer. Though I seem to buy the Anjou/Anjou Françoise. And though the prices have gone up a bunch In think Eric Morgat’s wines are excellent, if flamboyant.

No longer a lumber yard and greater purity rather than exaggerated extraction. The 2016s were lovely.

The Voillot wines are beautiful.

Style changed. Oak and extraction. The old wines for the mid-nineties are delicious.

The current Confiance is a blend of Pinot Noir grown in limestone and Pinot Meunier grown in clay, iirc. The 2014 is lovely-light robe, racy acidity, tactile sense of limestone minerality, roses and sous-bois on nose. Not sure what year made up the bottle you had. Not cheap, but super-pretty.

Fichet is the truth. The 2015s were surprisingly fresh and lifted given the vintage.

Mr. VLM is spot on with his love for the Louis Voillot wines. They are damned good!

Double decant. It should be sturdy enough.

Pommard Clos Micault 1er cru. It occurs to me that I don't think I've ever tried any example of this 1er cru. I know that Joseph Voillot and Picard release it. Anyone have any experience with either? Sort of curious to know what gives. Thanks. Best, John
