Wines of the last few months

I believe this is actually Jan D'Amore not Dressner. They also do this really interesting Aleatico vinified as a white wine. The Grechetto Rosso is very good also. Keeping it REAL in Lazio! Link: http://www.jandamorewines.com/occhipinti.html

The white from Grosbot-Barbara is only about 20% Tressallier. The rest is Chardonnay but you definitely notice the Tressallier.

    my little appellation

Sounds groovy. I'll have to track some down. I've been digging on the SW lately. I just had a couple of wines last week from another wierdo apellation (Not SW Though) Saint-Pourçain from Centre-Loire that you'd probably like. Both wines from Grosbot-Barbara. The Grinch that Stole Beaujolais

I've only had the Verdier-logel. The 2009 Gourmet is tasting great. Who brings in the Bonnefoy?

    The Grinch that Stole Beaujolais

Drink some Ctes-du-Forez. It's better than most non Cru Beaujolais and it $13 retail.

I'm confused, is this the from the cooperative La Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle or a Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle DOC which is by definition 100% pri blanc if I'm not mistaken. If so who is the producer? Thanks for the Clarification.

    In search of a brandy...

Bang of the buck...I'd go with the Chateau de Pellehaut Reserve Armagnac from Charles Neal. Can find it online for around $40-45/bt. I second the recommendation for the Brana but I don't think that is currently being imported into the US by anyone and it would be a lot more expensive.

    Reunion d'Orange

I agree but it kind of has that Orange wine quality to it...maybe I'm thinking of it because it's actually kind of Orange.
