If I'm not too late, I can add that Prepkitchen in Del Mar (which is fairly close to where you are staying) is good and casual. If you are going down to TJ, I'd think about eating at one of Javier Plascencia's places. Mision 19 would be a good one to consider. Hope you enjoy our town!

Thanks very much for the feedback Levi. We had the wine here in San Diego. I believe I purchased the bottles from a west coast retailer but I can't quite recall. You could sense some greatness in the wine but it was being quite shy. When I have it again, I'll try to give it a bit more time...

Picked up a bottle from a cellar sale today at my locker facility. Kermit import apparently back in the day and the fill looks terrific. I'm curious if anyone here knows this producer as I'm clueless. Curious though and it wasn't an expensive date. Thanks in advance for any enlightenment....
