    Current State of "Terroir Debate"

the way this discussion keeps going around and around and bobbing back up, it has me thinking of the bunch a cave men trying to figure out how a cell phone works.

    D.R.C. at Costo

not that this is relevant to what is going on now, but back in the early 2000's Costco at that point was the single largest seller of first and second growth Bordeaux in the USA. I still have one bottle of 1999 Chateau Palmer that I paid $66 at the time.

    need to replace a friend

as a restaurant employee working the floor as the wine guy, I don't know how many times i've had a distraught server come to me to fix things because the cork had busted off with still some in the neck. in these instances, occasionally it would have more appropriate to use a ah-so, but nearly...

one of the things that i enjoy about washed rind cheeses is the ephemeral crunch that's created in the rind.

    XP: Epoisses recipe

I'm not defending, i'm commenting. what humans eat and what they don't eat is not rational. if I were in Korea i would not eat dog meat, where it is priced as a delicacy. in peru, (I think it is), I would not eat guinea pig. etc, and then there's the 'gene' thing. for example, depending...
