Seattle Jeeb, late Nov

so we know what's up!

I'm totally up for it!

OK...here?

We could also do something low key this Friday.

Dec. 13?

Mussels?

VLM,

Email me -- blackcat (a t) pro-ns (d o t) net.

We'll work this out on da emails. I'm good for Sunday. Pichet is good, as long there aren't too many of us.

Pichet Sunday sounds good, that would be fun. It would be nice to meet VLM!

I wonder if MarcD is available?

I'll be there. Wouldn't want to miss a monkey appearance.

Where are we drinking?

Looks like Pichet is out. Everyone hates silly Gypsy Jazz. Especially me.

Unfortunately, I have a long hectic day of work Monday, so you probably won't get the full monkey.

I think Cafe Campagne is a good option and will probably be a bit quieter. ??

What's our count?

Campagne or Cafe Campagne?

I'm cool with either, I guess, but the regular Campagne has a better list.

Other recs from a former denizen:
Presse
Spinasse
Txori
La Spiga

I think you could get any bottle from the Campagne list at the Cafe, they are in the same building. The Cafe might be better for our purposes, it is less formal dining with almost the same food. I don't know if they allow BYO. Brad?

Presse is the same owners as Pichet.

I would love to try Spinasse, I love Piedmontese food, and heard their pasta is the best around.

Txori would be fun. Basque Pintxos are great.

I don't know too much about La Spiga, but would be happy to try it.

I'll defer to your judgment. As long as it's good, and I can buy some thing decent off the list to contribute without an ass-rape.

So I called Cafe Campagne (you can indeed pull off the main restaurant list, done it many a time) but their corkage is $25, which just ticks me off for a less formal place. Otherwise I think it would be good. But I'm open to whatever. It looks like Txori is only open for lunch. Lee maybe you should decide since you got us started and we all jumped in!

But for a more important question, what wines is everyone in the mood for?

Good food and wine, nice meeting you VLM.

Keep in mind a snowboarding jeeb next time.
Or golf if bwood comes.
