Jai Yun, January 25th

A great idea, x2. But that weekend is totally out for me. Parties, booze, birthdays, rinse and repeat.

Ahh, the life of a sysadmin.

Chris, I'd love to tell you but the owner really doesn't like me to give out the address. It's kind of an exclusive place.

Fine, fine. Have your fun. I'll just sit here in the dark.

Ok, let's see if we can make this happen in 2009. I have a strong preference for Saturday or Sunday. How do people feel about the weekend of Jan. 24?

Works for me, with a mild preference for Sunday.
Do we know if Jai Yun is open on Sunday?

(I still think there needs to be some way of indicating new posts on this board without requiring a visit. I rarely think to check it.)

Ok, I made a reservation for six people at 7pm on Sunday, January 25th. I'll update the top post. Hopefully some more people can make it now that we have a firm date.

I have a friend who's a f**die but not (yet) a winegeek who I've invited as well.

You invited Ann, the woman who came with Scott to Sociale?

Please put me on the list as well. I plan on bringing Stadlmann Zierfandler Mandel-Hoh and Talley riesling.

VLM: You heard me. Also, there is no waiting list, you're in.

Steve: You are also in.

Slaton (and others): I just called the restaurant. I can't be sure exactly what transpired, but I think the reservation is now at 6:00pm.
