You have a problem with fonts. Use a Mac.

Dude, the penalty kick was by far the hardest of his three goals, you have to agree.

But they did change it up, finally, nice ground game and high crosses as well.

Until Nasri picked up his hammy niggle, we didn't look to be missing Fabregas one bit. The ball was moving freely and with purpose. I love all these interchangeable types: Rosicky/Nasri/Arshavin. Speaking of which, I thought Arshavin had a mostly terrible game, except for his three assists. Seemed to only be half there.

We looked a bit shaky at the back. Sagna still doesn't look fit to me and Clichy looks rusty. Sol and Vermaelen don't have the same chemistry as Gallas has with Vermaelen, but I think Sol brings a hard-nosed quality that will be useful in the run-in.

Song looked great for 2/3 of the game. As he continues to grow and mature, he will be an amazing asset.

Diaby played well again. He has the ability to make runs with the ball that defenses can't seem to handle despite a bit of inelegance to them.

Eboue has been playing his ass off. I might start him in front of Sagna for a few games to give Sagna some recoup time.

I think we can take Hull without Cesc. I would have him on the bench, only to use in case of emergency.

I like that Bendtner gives us a plan B.

I think we were lucky not to give up a goal.

well, since I had predicted yesterday's games to perfection ( a blow out for Ars, and an extremely difficult and close game for Bayern due to being coached by a broken toilet plunger ), and I am going to give it a shot for the games which are about to start.
- I don't expect anything dramatic from ManU, but I expect them to advance. I just don't believe Milan is capable of a cynical 2:0 victory, it's not in their blood
- I feel (rather than think) that Real has their hands full today. Lyon has always been a team to avoid, not because they are the second coming, but because you never know how to play them. I think it will be very close at the end. In a way I hope I am wrong, because for pure entertainment purposes, a strong Real means some extremely cool match-ups in the quarters and semis.

is just about unstoppable.

In the conversation for FIFA POY, right?

If oyu had first pick, you couldn't say it would be easy to take Messi or Ronaldo. Fergie is a cagey bastard. I think, in the end, he thinks Rooney is better than Ronaldo. It's a fair argument.

Ro..... oney or obben ?Quite impressive, that Rooney guy. But I have not seen him do this .

Seriously? You don't remember his first appearance in the EPL against us?

Robben is a fine player, a poor man's Messi, but Rooney is on a whole different level.

just messi(ng) with you dude

It's a spectacular goal and I was a big Robben fan. He is unstoppable at times, but he doesn't bring the team together the way that Rooney does and is not reliable in the way that Ronaldo/Rooney/Messi/Fabregas are.

But when he's in the mood, he can certainly turn a game. Against anyone.

I like the Dutch as dark horses this summer.

I'll be curious to see if they come out blazing like four years ago and then can sustain that level for the whole cup. They were amazing the first two rounds (if I remember right) and then just fell apart.

Rooney does make others play better, especially recently, the way Robben can not.

One reason for this is that Rooney plays for a real manager.

But also because you don't have to be a genius to create an opportunity for Rooney these days, you just have to try hard. He will do something special, but you will be part of the play. So there is direct cause and effect.

With Robben, you don't have to do shit either, just give him the ball, and then he does everything himself, and you feel like a spectator.

So yes, you are quite right.

so we absolutely have to birdie the last 8 holes to win this thing ? seems unlikely

unfortunately it's a bit of a "anything you can do I can do better" case, with Barca

and their defense is better right now

I think our only hope is to play at such a fierce tempo that it throws them off.

This is the worst thing that could have happened. If we lose, Cesc might think about heading back. If we win, the fans will clamor for him.

maybe Cesc should convince them he is returning and they will start passing the ball to him ?

Erroneous. He never actually did that.
