Boston/Cambridge mid-May?

I'm going to be in Boston area (staying in Charlestown) from May 16-20, and the first two nights, Sunday and Monday, I'll be free and would enjoy a low-key, convivial gathering if anyone's about, and up for it.
 
By the way, I'd be happy to host at our place in Cambridge, provided no one is allergic to dogs. Also happy to provide food.
 
That is very generous twlim. I think I speak for everyone in saying that there could be some significant burden-sharing with the food if this route is taken. (With the exception of Steve of course - flying from CA is burden enough for him!)
 
Actually, I'll be taking the train from NY, but who knows what kind of shape I may be in? And anyway, I'd be happy to help with the cooking!
 
I wouldn't turn down any invitation that involves Tse Wei cooking. But alas, as Steve already knows, this one I must. Have fun, everyone.
 
We are really very happy to provide food, and it's really no trouble, though we'd welcome any contributions people would like to make.

Rahsaan - will you be back in time to do something on the evening of the 16th, or should we shoot for the 17th?
 
I wouldn't change any plans just for me with all these other folks involved. Especially since my return plans are liable to change at the last minute for various reasons I can relate to everyone if indeed I do make it to this event.

But, right now I'm supposed to get back the afternoon of the 16th so the 16th or 17th is fine with me.

In deference to the fact that the 17th will be a school night, I propose the 16th, which may change if I hear sufficient sentiment to the contrary.
 
I am interested, but will be driving my daughter to VT to leave for India on the 17th. It will have to be next visit for me.
 
Time to talk details. Confirmed attendance list above. I'd like to settle on a theme over the weekend, and then will organize food and respond to the numerous and generous offers to help with food etc.

So - suggestions? I've heard a pitch for being Rhonish...
