Looks like Mou solved his striker problem.

was there any doubt in the first place?

also, Matic was the type of transfer that I wish some other teams (ahem...) would have done

I had thought he was crazy to pass on Lukaku. Seemed like the natural replacement for Drogba in their system even if he was a bit raw at the beginning of last season.

"Yann M’Vila seemed to be one of those players that only existed in the minds of transfer rumourers, linked with English clubs in story after story but with scant concrete evidence of his existence, to be filed alongside the mythical Leandro Damiao.

M’Vila has theoretically been on loan at Inter from Rubin Kazan this season, but the Italians apparently aren’t at all fussed about keeping him, and indeed would very much appreciate him doing one, according to the Laaaaaaaaaadaaaaaan Evenin’ Staaaaaaaaandad, who quote his agent Fabrizio Ferrari as saying:

There are many sides interested in him [M’Vila]. However, at this point in time, QPR have been the most active.

While they’re poring over players currently on loan at Inter who Roberto Mancini would like shot of, they’re also looking at a move for Southampton dreamboat Dani Osvaldo. Genoa, Parma, Torino and Cagliari are also keen on Italy’s premier hat and bead model."

Chelsea are certainly showing some ambition to give Liverpool a run for their money, maybe not next year yet, but the following. I think the transfer ban was the best thing to happen to them in years.
