My wife and I will be in Manhattan for the weekend right after the 4th. Anyone want to Jeeb at dinner Saturday night? Open to any ideas but would love to try Grand Sichuan.
I have a big stash of wine to pick up at Chambers so we will be flush with all sorts of good stuff to drink.

The poor, neglected Jeebus bored has long suffered from lack of attention. Whether that's due to the glitch that doesn't highlight threads with new posts here, or for deeper, more pathological reasons I know not, but the VLM and I have waged a guerilla campaign to promote the use of this bored.

Sounds great. Probably should get a Rez somewhere. Any ideas? We are flexible but were thinking Asian ' cuz our options here are limited.

I've got some ideas. Ever had Tokyo barbecue? Like Korean, but totally Japanified and awesome.

No, it's not yakitori. I'm not sure exactly what they are called other than Tokyo style barbecue.

We may hit the pastor tasting at chambers. starts around 4 I think.
 
Not gonna happen. Can't pull it off last minute.

The place I went to was Yakiniku Gen in Turtle Bay on East 52nd.
