Only a week later than the Jeeb below. It's my yearly trip to NY. Gail will be coming with me. We'll arrive Thursday, Nov. 15 and leave Sunday Nov. 18 and so could jeeb on Thursday, Fri. or Sat. night.
 
That jeebus has moved a couple weeks later than the initial idea.

Meanwhile: Nov 17 is the Reboule du Rhone so I'd rather not drink otherwise on that weekend. Thursday works for me, though.
 
Thursday the 15th is already vinously booked for me, and I don’t control the gig that night. If I had known about this earlier — I never look on the jeebus board unless poked — I probably could have worked on getting you all invited. The 16th or 17th may be possible.
 
I really do not want to have to choose between Jeff and Jayson by choosing one date or the other. And I can't solve it by offering to chop a baby in two. Maybe you two could flip a coin?
 
We are now 6 as I am very happy to announce that Lisa can join us.

North Square is another option, as is North End Grill. So is Cafe Loup since they're open again. All with $20 corkage.

JL - any preference?
 
Ping's is family-style Chinese.

Maison Kayser is a baker, really, with a short menu.

North End Grill is a Danny Meyers restaurant that is closing in a few weeks.

North Square is a good regular restaurant.

Cafe Loup is a medium-quality French cafe straight out of the 1960s, if not the 1860s.
 
I guess North Squarae and Cafe Loup look the best to me. We'd both be fine with Ping's if that's everybody's preference. All the menus seem perfectly fine, if expectable, so if one of them stands out in terms of taste, I'd be happy to follow you all there.
