Jim, did you take 3 Paxlovid twice a day for 5 days? It is getting good reviews, including by me.

I'm not high risk, Pete, so I don't think I currently qualify for Paxlovid.

Jim, you must be thinking of something else as the qualifications are that "A person must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 88 pounds." It's too bad you missed out on the expected benefits of Paxlovid.

Pete, from the link you provided: "Right now, only people with certain medical conditions can be prescribed the drug."

Jim, I thought earlier you said you were "old" in which case --> "you must either have certain underlying conditions (including cancer, diabetes, obesity, or others) or be 65 or older (more than 81% of COVID-19 deaths occur in in this group)".

My impression is the powers-that-be are anxious that people start getting Paxlovid; in fact, my recollection is that it was free. It is said that all you need is a prescription.

No, Mark Anisman described himself as old. I said I'm 46. Sometimes that feels old, but I've got a while before 65. This is all in this very thread, if you care to read it.

Crossed wires must be a side-effect of Paxlovid.

Alright, looking forward to seeing everyone at 6pm on Tuesday at The Wolf in Oakland. Here's the list of attendees: Yule, Brad, Larry, Steve, Karen, and me.

Jim, I sent you a message via disorderly email.... Thanks so much, Karen

I'm sorry to say I'm not going to b able to attend; I'm having some physical issues at the moment, nothing too serious, but precluding my participation. I hope it's a great evening, anyway. Best to all.
