Retailer in NY?Anyone used winecellerage? Trustworthy?

Yeah, a few years ago I was looking for magnums of Vilmart Grande Reserve for an upcoming party. They were the most appealing-looking source, so I went through them. Service was great and the prices were good. No complaints at all.

I've never bought anything from them, but a decade ago when we lived in NYC, I used to store my wine there. Everything was fine until the time came to move everything out for the journey down to DC. Then they dropped a case they were moving and shattered a bottle of 2007 Gonon Vieilles Vignes. They already knew they were losing me as a customer due to the move, so they offered to credit me my cost for the bottle - about $50. Not exactly the ideal outcome for a wine that can't be replaced at my cost. Anyway, just venting, this probably has nothing to do with their ability to sell you wine. But if anyone would like to drink some 2010 Clos des Lambrays that have special scratch-and-sniff labels with a 2007 Gonon VV scent, let me know.

Next time I'm in DC!
