Fastest bottle drunk by Mme and I ever

Interesting. These wines are available locally and touted as being glou-glou-rific but I've generally been avoiding the 2020 Beaujolais due to the almost roasted character and heaviness of wines that I've tried (but really looking forward to 2021). I also don't drink as much Beaujolais as I used to.

Just noticed a bunch of these wines are available in Nyc as well (no surprise). I also noticed that there are so many new (presumably high-quality) Beaujolais producers available. It's impossible to keep up!

Yeah, these are all good comments. The vineyard cuvees are definitely better - more delineated - and Nathan I agree with that vintage assessment, though this wine was not heavy, it was somewhat roasted and diffuse.

Still - maybe 15 minutes? I was astonished.

Hmm, I wonder if there's considerable bottle variation with this wine or very possibly it has improved with time? My wife and I opened a bottle 6 months ago and found it extremely confected. We didn't drink more than a glass. The experience made me wary of buying other 2020s, but I did like Breton's 2020 P'tit Max (if rather less so than the 2019).
