Brezeme CDR Question.....

Dunno. 2001 Cote Rotie (double decanted and transported to community table in new preston this summer ) was freaking awesome, and if anything got even better over dinner. Wrath of CEO & winemaker noted.

I had a similar experience recently with the 1999, which showed much better (and incredibly well) a couple of hours after being double decanted.

Rabbit is the brand. It’s 2 pieces, aerator and strainer. They can be used together or separately. Apologies for the long link. I can’t figure out how to copy a hyperlink here with an iPad.

Just received my Rabbit, and the strainer's mesh is much finer than my thimble's mesh and will do a better job of straining the sediment at the bottom of old Tondonias. Many thanks for the rec!

It's the same wine, it won't *taste* any different. The only issue is whether one approach is going to get you a few extra dribbles of wine on the decant before the sediment comes. My gut tells me the angled rest probably makes the most sense on that front, but my gut also tells me that this is the sort of thing that guts are often wrong about. Tempted to give this a scientific test at some point with a dozen bottles filled with water and some sand.

My guts are hated and wrong, seemingly in equal proportion.

Can you rearrange the letters in "Texier" to make Asterix?

Actually, it's "Trexit." That's when Eric leaves the discussion because people are decanting his wines.
