based on a longer visit last September I can recommend the following :

high end: Le Clarence and A.T.
also surprisingly good was the modernized classic food at Les Climats. The wine list is massive and while not very deep into older vintage anymore there are a lot of interesting bottles at reasonable prices.

casual: Clown Bar, L'Ami Jean, Pianovins, Pouliche, Clamato (for seafood).

if you like meat/terrines/charcuterie and Beaujolais then Arnaud Nicolas is hard to beat. And also a very friendly place.

if you are in the neighborhood and in the mood for a simple meal with really good ingredients, Claude Colliot is rather good. But seemed somehow never busy so it is not a place with a bustling atmosphere like all the other causal places I listed .

I like to have the final dinner of a Paris visit at Arnaud Niolas. Suitably relaxed, friendly, distinctively Parisian.

Don't miss Les Enfants du Marche. Outside in a market. No reservations. Get there early. We usually go twice on most of our Paris trips.

We had a very nice first time meal at Elmer on Friday. Great ingredients in straightforward preparations. Seasonal vegetables are used well throughout (morels and asparagus made several appearances), but one should also want to eat fish or meat (many main dishes to share, we had a grilled St. Pierre and a large piece of pork loin, both excellent). Fun wine list with the Paris-typical natural bent (in a good way) and a very enthusiastic sommelier who clearly tries to find a great match for the guest.

Otherwise we had luck with a table at Septime for the first time and revisited Clamato and Arnaud Nicolas (amazing tourte with chicken, pork, and spinach), all extremely satisfying.
