Pichon Lalande w/dinner (menu)

Hi Pete
I have a single bottle of ‘95 Pichon Lalande. Based on what you drank that evening, do you think it’s ready to drink now, or wait?
I realize there are going to be differences in the bottles and how we view what’s ideal drinking, but curious to get your take.

Marc, it is a tough call. You are correct, there are lots of variables that can affect the answer to your question.

I wish you had at least one extra bottle that you could try near-term. My thoughts are it is near or entering its preferred drinking window and should hold comfortably quite a few more years (sorry I'm unable to be more exact).

If I had one bottle, I'd probably mark it as to be drunk anytime between soonish and 8 or so years from now. If you forget to drink it during that interval, I think you still would be okay with it.

I hope I'm steering you with some degree of accuracy.
