Pete,
I always assume when you post these menus that you are attending these dinners; is that right?
If so, it appears you get to taste a pretty large range of wines. And while that fact also appeals to me, in this particular case, I think I’d be done after the reception. Personal taste, obviously.
But I hope you go (or have gone) and enjoy/enjoyed.

Correct. In my case, I don't drink Champagne, so during the reception I had a glass of the Araujo Eisele Sauvignon Blanc which was a beautiful selection.
All of the wines were very good to excellent with the Sine Qua Non probably my least favorite on this occasion -- nothing "wrong" with it, just no a favorite of mine.

Used to. Shouldn't now due to gastric issues and I don't miss it... nor do I miss not having any fizzy drinks.
