Just the basic Muscadet (Sevre et Maine sur Lie, if anyone's counting), that is.

Lean, creamy, and zingy. How it manages this, I have no idea. Awfully good.

I think that 2002 may be my favorite vintage of Pepiere. I don't have as much experience with 1996 as with 2002, but I think they may evolve similarly, but 2002 seems to have more elegance. I don't have any regular Pepiere left, much to my dismay, but non-corked bottles of the Briords are utterly brilliant.
