l'Eglise '00

Clos l'Eglise '00 -- Inky dark, large amount of sediment, nice fragrance, dark berries, deep with tar, leather, full profile, rustic, still youthful power, no fading, made for the long haul. [VG - E]

Worked well with sauteed meat balls, sweet potato fries, and air-fried okra.

To its credit, the dense, almost tarry profile of the l'Eglise made it well-suited the next night with fried chicken quesadillas.
