Had an assortment of non-wino extended family members over, and did pretty well with 2020 Clisson, NV Gatinois Brut Tradition and 2021 Bedrock Old Vine Zinfandel. My first time with Bedrock and it did not disappoint on the fresh-interpretation-of-Zinfandel front.

I had planned some Vouvray and a mag of '18 Clos de Roilette- Fleurie Cuvee Tardive, but we crushed a bottle of Clase Azul Reposado before dinner and that was pretty much that. Ended up just opening a '22 Hippolyte Reverdy- Sancerre and a '20 Donhoff- Oberhauser Leistenberg Riesling Kabinett. There was also a Gigondas one of my brothers-in-laws brought, but I don't recall it.

2007 and 2008 Ridge Mazzoni Home Ranch. This is the second year I’ve brought a Ridge mini-vertical. Last year, I brought 2004 and 2005 Ponzo Zin. Son-in-Law smokes a turkey on a Weber R2D2 (that’s what it looks like) so these wines are a good match.
