Northern Rhone + Other Wines TNs -- 1/26/24

Jamet's 2011 is quite fine, I'm holding on to my last bottle. A few years since I had my previous one and no notes except a happy memory.

Big fan of 2011 here, the Cordeloux and Voge wines among them (Chailles, VV). In general, Northern Rhone wines from 2011 are generous and have showed well since release. The 2011 Juge Cornas is particularly amazing.

Thank you for the 2011 Northern Rhone information. It's interesting to see the vintage is showing well across so many different producers.

Yule, I last opened a 2010 Cordeloux in November..

Thank you!

Just reading this. Wow, Yule! Thank you for these notes and the subsequent discussion. I am a big fan of NRhone syrah, and even the occasional marsanne/rousanne.

Thanks Jeff! I'm glad you like the notes. I'm going to be posting some notes on recent Barge and Clos de la Bonnette soon. I've been on a N. Rhone roll.

And thanks Jeff for helping keeping the lights on in this place. It's good to know the collective knowledge recorded on this board is in safe hands.
