Scherrer Winery Old and Mature Vines Alexander Valley Zin '21 -- Dark red, generous fruit aromatics, nicely ripe fruits, balanced and integrated, ample acidity, very food friendly, nothing not to like with this gem and no hurry to consume. [E]
Examples of its versatility -- it worked so nicely with grilled strip steak and sweet potato fries the first night, then fried chicken on tossed green salad then bites of Almond Roca the next night.
