Tonight's 2015 Chamonard Morgon was a nice opportunity to revisit a producer I very much enjoy but have not tasted in a while. The lovely hazy lacy delicate character to the fruit reminded me of previous pleasures. But the ripe sunny year was too apparent and detracted from my enjoyment. Maybe it needs another 6 years like Oswaldo's 2009. But I'm not betting with my storage space.

'21 Serol Millerands

Somewhat reduced on first night, so corked and stuck in the fridge for night two watching the Hawks demolish the 49ers. There was a really interesting tangerine element first night that was totally gone night two...

Lovely wine. A more straight ahead wine than the Millerands, fun but a bit serious and certainly elegant, in the vein of the Eclat but perhaps a bit more refined (hard to know w/o side by side). Pavel, you'd be super safe with this one.
