Posting here because the jeebus bored seems senescent...

We just moved to Falls Church, VA, and will be here for a couple of years. We know approximately no one in the area.

Having just put the wines into the vinotemp, I am reminded that it's rather nice to drink it with other people.

Can I offer to make dinner for anyone in the area, either individually or as a group?

Or, I'm happy to cart bottles out to a sympathetic restaurant, though I have no idea what those might be!
 
I might be doing a Riesling event in the DC area in the spring. Send me your contact info I know a wine lover in Arlington you should meet.
 
There is a modest DC contingent here, some of us (like myself) in DC and others in Virginia. I will let others out themselves, but some of us get together to dine at our homes but it's been a while since I've jeebused in a restaurant.
